Why a person needs a Savior…
Six thousand years ago, God created man and women and placed them in the Garden of Eden. God gave man only one rule to obey...do not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17). Satan entered into the garden, and tempted Adam and Eve to partake of the forbidden fruit. They partook and in doing so introduced sin to all mankind. Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world...”

What did God do to resolve the sin issue...
Adam’s sin separated man from God. Romans 5:15 says “But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one (Adam) many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.” God’s will was to provide a way men and women could be reconciled unto God. The plan God chose to reconcile man to God was to send His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the price required of Jehovah God for sin. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Two thousand years ago, a babe came in a manger. Not an ordinary babe, but the babe born to virgin Mary was Jesus Christ. The babe grew, became a man, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross at Calvary. In Christ’s death, the sin issue started in the Garden of Eden was resolved.

How YOU can be included in Salvation plan…
The plan of salvation is for the whole world. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...” Though the plan is for all men, it must be accepted on an individual basis. No man can be saved for another man. Individually, one must call on God to be saved. Romans 10:13 says “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Would you like to be saved? Humble your heart before God, ask God to forgive your sin, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart as your personal Savior. Then, receive the gift of salvation by faith...no dreams, or signs, or visions, for salvation comes only by faith. Ephesians 2:8 reads “For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God.”
